| SCHOOL DANCES |
School dances are always unique. I take great pride in having a terrific light show. I subscribe to
several new music suppliers and can keep up with the songs the kids want now. Fresh, new and
fun ideas are something the teens and preteens want. Having a theme for the dances helps
coordinate the music. My music library is always growing and if the kids want to bring music in on
CD, I keep up with the newest music out there so, I will play it as long as it passes the parents
approval. Teens are the hardest group to please with music. They have the groups that listen to
what their parents like and the kids that want the newest stuff out there. I try to take ideas and
suggestions directly from them and play what they want, with what the parents and teachers will
allow. I will not joke with you, teen dances can be frustrating without a plan. That's why I meet with
the adults in charge and a second meeting with the kids that will actually want to enjoy the dance.
Several themes include: Country/rodeo, rock, motorcycle, sock hop, disco fever, karaoke,
Christian, Christmas/Winter, costume, musical chairs, patriotic 4th of July (red white blue)
fireworks, swing, limbo/train, hula hoops, balloon relay, 80's retro, beach/luau, spelling bee,
fair/circus and many others. We will work with dancers to show the kids how to correctly do each
dance. We will work with singers to help get the karaoke party started right. We will work with you
to create the party you want.
Your school dance, prom, birthday party, graduation celebration and other types of dances can be
fun if we all work together. We will create what is fun for the kids and acceptable by the parents.
